These are some of the cards, layouts, and a project I created for the recent CHA Trade show, using the Aiko collection from My Little Shoebox. I was delighted to work with the vivid colors and playful icons in this collection!

You Melt My Heart

Hi Blog Hoppers! If you reached my blog from Becky's blog, you are right where you should be. If not, please go back to the MLS Blog to begin the blog hop. I used the Unity snowman stamp from the Winter Wonderland collection, stamped it once on the white background, then again. I cut out the second stamped image (cutting off the arms), then used copic markers to color it. It was then pop dotted to create dimension. Some flower soft and some baker's twine finished it, and everything was mounted on Winter Wonderland papers. I also embossed one of the background pieces. I hope you enjoy the card!

These 3 cards were made using the My Little Shoebox 'Pretty Little Things' collection. The purpose was to showcase the new roll-up flowers! They are fun and easy to do, and can add wonderful dimension. I love using pearls as center accents on the flowers!

Flying High

I used the playground paper from My Little Shoebox, together with the flowers and banners. The fence is made from stirring sticks, stained with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo. I also used Tattered Angels 'Dirty Martini' Glam for the leaves and grass. I used some hand stitching to accent the paper, and pop dots to add dimension.

This is a Punky Sprouts album that was exciting and challenging. I used all of the Audrey collection of papers, stickers, mini letters, and rolled flowers from My Little Shoebox. It is a lovely, very feminine collection which lends itself to the wonderful new rolled flowers from MLS, vintage laces, and ribbons. I used some black lace tissue, lots of pearls, and of course, pictures of my three granddaughters. For emphasis, I also used two of my favorite products: Tattered Angels Dirty Martini glam and Chalkboard Firefly. Hope you like the album!

MLS Trick or Treat Blog Hop

My Little Shoebox is having a Trick or Treat blog hop! If you got here from Pattie's Blog, you are in the right place! My project is a Wall Hanging using the Trick or Treat collection from My Little Shoebox. The papers and embellishments are on a round wooden block with an attached cord. The haunted house is done with a stamp and copic markers. Helen's six collections all have a die cut sheet of flowers to be rolled. I love working with them because they come in wonderful colors that coordinate with the papers in each of her collections! Fabulous fun to make! I hope you enjoy my project as much as I did designing it!

This card was designed to show the unique houses, die cuts and papers from the My Little Shoebox collection called City by the Bay. I chose the scalloped card to create a different looking card that would show the collection in the best way. I hope you enjoy the card!

These are the pieces to my City by the Bay banner. The banner was done using the My Little Shoebox collection of wonderful papers and themes, and I used a Maya Road album for the houses in the banner.

This is a picture of the completed banner. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did in designing it. The My Little Shoebox collection was exciting to use because of the colors and whimsy of the papers and die cuts!

This is my interpretation of the sketch. I loved the ribbons I used, and it's fun to use bling to highlight the the elegant flourishes in the Heartfelt paper.

My Little Shoebox is announcing a challenge using the Farmer's Market collection. We'd love to have you create a project using this collection for one or all three of the following categories:

+ Layout - 12 X 12 layout using paper, cardboard stickers, acrylic stamps, glitter letters or mini alphas.

+ Card - using your choice of a theme, using the same items listed above from the Farmer's Market collection.

+ Stamping - create a stamped project,using acrylic stamps and the coordinating items

I love this picture of my daughter and my grandchildren. I used Home Tweet Home from My Little Shoebox to create this fun, colorful layout! Using foam dots to make stickers and flowers pop is a fun way to add dimension.

This card is done using copic markers and nestabilities. I love the vibrancy of copics!
